Born on a drawing board in the late 1940's in Winnipeg Canada, Punkinhead came from the pen of cartoonist Charles Thorson (he did Bugs Bunny - Elmer Fudd - Snow White and Dwarfs - etc). Mop Topped misfit cub named Punkinhead would become the Teddy Bear who was Santa's favorite little helper for the department store Eaton's in Canada as their version of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer for Christmas. If you are familiar with the MerryThought Punkinhead Bears and Eaton's Department stores in Canada, then these are for you or the collector. Again this set of 4 are VERY RARE and "one of a kind originals" from Eaton's.

The storyboards tell about Peter Rabbit and Momma Rabbit invited to a big Easter Egg party. Looking on is Punkinhead Bear watching them. There are 4 separate window storyboards #19, #20, #21, #22 following the story.

Each one measures approximately 30" by 20". Each one is for the mechanical windows display explaining the story and for moving parts to be done. The very vivid colorful watercolor paintings are all in excellent condition, no wear, no fading. All the writing/instructions and drawings are done in pencil and all that is in excellent condition.

The pictures do not do these justice. These should be for adult collectors only and not handled by kids.

Each one would look great framed and hung on a wall with the Punkinhead Bear collection and to keep them for better shape. Don't miss out on these. I describe my items to the best of my ability, not being an expert on item(s).
